Steering committee

S

A steering committee is an advisory group that can include experts, stakeholders, or other key members of a project or an organization. They meet periodically to determine the direction and "steer" a project's scope, budget, timeline, or other project management decisions. The job of the steering committee is to make sure a project is "on the right track."
