Critical systems heuristics (CSH)

C

Critical systems heuristics (CSH) is a set of 12 questions (called boundary questions) that are used to explore the assumptions we typically rely on when evaluating systems. CSH has 3 main purposes:

Making sense of situations: understanding assumptions and appreciating the bigger picture;

Unfolding multiple perspectives: promoting mutual understanding; and

Promoting reflective practice: analysing situations – and changing them.
