Threshold

A threshold is the minimum standard that is to be reached to meet a criteria or norm. In research, this can be the lowest point that a change is observable. In academics, these are the minimum requirements that need to be met to obtain a certain grade. In evaluation, a threshold can represent the minimum acceptable performance.
