Semi-structured interview

S

Semi-structured interviews are a type of interview where the evaluator has prepared a set of questions or topic areas to explore with the participant, but the conversation is encouraged to evolve based on what is important to the participant. This method allows flexibility in the data collected because the evaluator may not know what is important to participants yet, and can probe to gather more information.
