Recall bias

R

Recall bias is when the information gathered is skewed because of the participant's ability to recall the information accurately. It is based on the concept that recollection of past experiences diminishes over time which results in inaccuracies when recalling past experiences. The longer the time between an experience and when an individual is asked about said experience, the more likely those recollections will be inaccurate or influenced by current events and experiences.
