Pivot tables
A pivot table is an interactive way to organize and summarize selected variables within a dataset. As the name indicates, pivot tables work by 'pivoting' (or turning) the data so that it can be assessed from different perspectives. Pivot tables allow data to be reorganized easily to display sums, averages, ranges, and other summary statistics.
