Interval data

I

Interval data is a type of continuous data measured along a numerical scale, with equal distance between each point. Importantly, interval data does not have a meaningful zero value. Some examples of interval data include temperature readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit (but not Kelvin, which has an absolute 0), or time of day on a 12-hour clock.
