Evaluative thinking refers to a mindset or approach that involves systematically and critically assessing information, evidence, and assumptions to make informed judgments and decisions. It involves considering evidence and evaluating the value and effectiveness of programs and interventions in order to improve understanding, learning, and decision-making. Evaluative thinking is critical to the practice of evaluation and recognizes the importance of continuous learning.
