An evaluability assessment is a preparatory tool used before initiating a program evaluation. Its purpose is to provide critical insights into when and how an evaluation should be conducted, ultimately enhancing the likelihood that the evaluation will yield valuable and reliable results. Evaluability assessments focus on gauging the extent to which a project or its components can feasibly and accurately be evaluated.
