Determinant Frameworks

The purpose of determinant frameworks is to examine and explain what influences specific implementation outcomes. These frameworks can be used to describe the context and variables that may negatively or positively influence the outcome. Most determinant frameworks will address intended change, context, and strategies.

Some determinant frameworks include Theoretical Domains Framework (TDF) and the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR).
