Defensibility refers to the quality or characteristic of being able to withstand scrutiny, challenge, or criticism. It involves the ability to provide sound and well-supported justifications, evidence, or arguments to support the validity, reliability, and credibility of research findings, methods, or analytical approaches. In other words, defensibility is the extent to which findings are supported by evidence.
