Continuous quality improvement (CQI)

Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), also known as Continuous Quality Management (CQM) or Continuous Improvement Process (CIP), is an ongoing effort to improve processes, products, services, or outcomes within an organization. It is a systematic approach that focuses on incremental, continuous, and sustained improvement rather than one-time fixes or sporadic changes. CQI uses a cycle of activities aimed at identifying areas for improvement, implementing changes, monitoring the outcomes, and making further adjustments.
