Audience

The audience is the group of people who are expected to consume a specific piece of information. Evaluation products such as reports, slideshows, or data visualizations should be tailored to match the needs of the audience. The “pyramid philosophy” is a useful way to plan what types of messages are appropriate for which audiences – the least complex messages target the broadest audiences, while the most complex messages target the smallest audience.
